Who are the richest and poorest communes, counties and voivodeships in Poland 2022 ? Huge differences [LIST]

Kleszczów is the richest among the communes in Poland, according to data from the Ministry of Finance. The richest poviat is Warsaw, and the richest voivodeship, Mazowieckie.

The Ministry of Finance published a statement based on tax revenues for 2020 (as of June 30, 2021). It goes, among others real estate, agricultural and forest taxes as well as CIT and PIT revenues. On the basis of tax revenues per capita (G indices for municipalities in the list below – all data in PLN), the wealth of individual units can be calculated, which is used to calculate the so-called janosikowe – reports the Self- Government Portal.

The 5 richest municipalities in Poland are (data in PLN):

    1. Kleszczów – Łódź Voivodeship – indicator G: 29,704.36;
    2. Kobierzyce – Lower Silesia – index G: 8 124.74;
    3. Rząśnia – Łódzkie Voivodeship – G index: 7 383.7;
    4. Jerzmanowa – Lower Silesia – index G: 7,330.33;
    5. Szczerców – Łódź Province – G indicator: 6,936.48;

On the other hand, the 5 poorest municipalities in Poland are:

    1. Trzcianne – Podlasie – G index: 657.78;
    2. Rusinów – Mazowieckie Voivodeship – G index: 649.61;
    3. Rościszewo – Mazowieckie – index G: 641.96;
    4. Ostrówek – Lubelskie – index G: 619.68;
    5. Dzikowiec – Podkarpackie Voivodeship – G index: 619.22;

The 5 richest counties (P) in Poland are:

  1. The capital city of Warsaw – Mazowieckie – index P: 847.11;
  2. Warsaw West – Masovian Voivodeship – P index: 657.36;
  3. Piaseczyński – Mazowieckie Voivodeship – P index: 652.70;
  4. Sopot – Pomeranian Voivodeship – P index: 651.61;
  5. Pruszkowski – Mazowieckie Voivodeship – P index: 589.84;

On the other hand, the 5 poorest poviats in Poland include:

  1. Moniecki – Podlasie – P index: 120.38;
  2. Chełmski – Lubelskie – index P: 123.27;

The list also includes data on the richest and poorest voivodeships in Poland. Mazowieckie appeared at the top of the list with the result of PLN 665.19. Next comes Wielkopolskie (PLN 325.57) and Dolnośląskie (PLN 319.65).

In turn, the poorest voivodships are: Lubelskie (PLN 145.29), Podlaskie (PLN 143.41) and Warmińsko-Mazurskie (PLN 142.31).
