The upcoming weekend will be full of problems with access to accounts, making transfers and making payments with Blik. Seven Polish banks have announced technical breaks in the next three days. Additionally, the website of the PKO bank will not work. As every week, at Bankier.pl, we check who and when should prepare for difficulties.
Difficulties in many Polish banks
So far, information on the planned works has been made available by the following institutions: Alior Bank, Bank Nowy, Bank Pekao and BNP Paribas Bank Polska.
On Saturday evening (July 16) at 23:00 service works at Alior Bank will begin. Until 4:00 on Sunday (July 17), Alior Online internet banking and the Alior Mobile application will not be available.
As the bank informs on its website, the works will not affect card transactions and ATM withdrawals, however, the activities, and thus the difficulties, may be extended.
Bank Pekao also has Technical maintenance
Due to the planned technical break in the Express Elixir system, at night from Saturday to Sunday (July 16/17) from From 0:30 to 4:30 it will not be possible to make an instant Express Elixir transfer or a transfer to the phone with Blik in the PeoPay application.
Credit Agricole – difficulties during the weekend
On the night from Saturday to Sunday (16/17 July), customers of Credit Agricole bank will also have to take into account difficulties. The service will start from Saturday 23:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.
During this time, the CA24 service (eBank, mobile, text) and the automatic IVR telephone service will not be available. Online Transfers and Blik payments will also be unavailable.
During the works, the bank’s customers will not receive SMS notifications about card transactions. In turn, the cash deposited in the cash deposit machine during the technical break will be credited after its end.
Technical maintenance at Nest Bank
Possible problems with using and logging in to electronic banking will also await customers of Nest Bank in the coming days. They will be related to the service works, which will take place on Saturday (July 16) from 0:30 to 10:00 on July 16 (Saturday) from 0:30 to 10:00.
Getin Bank – without transfers and Blik
Unavailable transfers and payments with Blik and no access to accounts – Getin Bank clients have to prepare for such inconvenience. 23:50 on Saturday (July 16) until 2:00 am on Sunday (July 17).
According to the bank’s representatives, during the technical work carried out at that time, card payments, ATM withdrawals and CDM deposits are to function without disruptions.
Technical maintenance at the BPS Bank
Also on the night from Saturday to Sunday (16/17 July) customers of BPS Bank will be without access to electronic banking. The difficulties will last from Saturday 23:00 until 1:00 am on Sunday. Transactions submitted for settlement during this time will be rejected.
mBank – Saturday without eMakler
Throughout almost all of Saturday (July 16) – from The eMakler service and the mobile application of the mBank brokerage house will be unavailable from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
